When the Prime Minister cancelled the second phase of HS2 in October, he committed to reinvesting every penny of the £36 billion saved in to transport.

Today, the Government has launched the £4.7 billion Local Transport Fund.

I will be working closely with WNC to ensure our share of this money is spent wisely, improving our local transport infrastructure.
