Northamptonshire a great area for a TESLA manufacturing plant

Our area is at the centre of motorsport valley, making it a fantastic potential location for a future Tesla manufacturing plant. We have the talent and the infrastructure as well as the cutting-edge research architecture in high end manufacturing and battery technology.

This unique area, home to so many innovative and forward thinking businesses, hosts around 4,300 companies employing over 40,000 people.

I’ve written a joint letter with my neighbour, Andrew Lewer MP, to Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk, to highlight Northamptonshire’s strategic strengths, as well as our location at the heart of the UK logistics and supply chain. I will keep constituents updated with Tesla’s response.
