Visit to Northampton Hilton in Collingtree

With thanks to the Northampton Hilton in Collingtree today for a really interesting meeting with General Manager, Ahmet Donmez. 

We discussed how lockdowns have affected the hotel, and how they have managed to scale back up over the summer.  I heard what a huge boost furlough and rate reliefs were, and about the current problems with lack of HGV drivers creating supply chain problems.  I was delighted to hear of their commitment to recruitment of apprentices and the Kick Start scheme.  

We both agreed it would be fantastic to work together on a Jobs Fair for local people looking for work, and will be working on it together with the Hilton as the venue.
