Northampton Gateway - Pre-application Statutory Consultation Submission | November 2017
On behalf of my many constituents who have contacted me in recent months with their concerns about Roxhill's proposal to develop a Strategic Rail Freight Interchange, Northampton Gateway, between the Northampton Loop Line and the M1 near junction 15a, I have submitted my response to Roxhill's pre-application statutory consultation.
This is further to my submission in January this year to Roxhill's initial non-statutory consultation which you can read here.

Roxhill anticipates that they will submit their application to the Planning Inspectorate early next year, at which point PINS examiners will start their consideration of the proposal before making a decision to recommend that the Secretary of State for Transport either grants or does not grant a Development Consent Order.
There will be further opportunities during the PINS consideration to continue to raise concerns about the application.
