As Conservatives, we know that to increase productivity we must increase investment and provide better incentives to work. A massive congratulations to Chancellor Jeremy Hunt for:

• Cutting the headline rate of National Insurance for all working people from 12% to 10%.

• Reducing Class 4 NICs for the self employed from 9% to 8%, and abolishing Class 2 altogether.

• Making full expensing permanent, part of the largest tax cut for businesses in British history.
