Reappointment to the Treasury Select Committee
I have today been reappointed to the Treasury Select Committee, 12 years after I was first elected to it as a new MP. I am looking forward to working with colleagues cross party to scrutinise policy and hold the government to account at what is such a critical time for our country.
The Treasury Committee is appointed by the House of Commons to examine the expenditure, administration and policy of HM Treasury, HM Revenue & Customs, and associated public bodies, including the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority.
