Visit to Bexleyheath West Street Children's Centre

I was pleased to visit Bexleyheath and the West Street Children’s Centre along with the MP for Bexleyheath and Crayford the Right Honourable Sir David Evennett, to Bexley to find out more about the recent reorganisation of the borough’s Children Centres.

It was fantastic to visit the West Street Children’s Centre in Bexleyheath, and I was particularly pleased to meet parents and carers to hear directly from them about the early years services and support they receive in the local area.

It’s vital that the needs of the baby is at the centre of early years services, and the feedback I received from parents and carers in Bexley will be so valuable in ensuring that every baby gets the best start for life as part of the work of the Early Years Healthy Development Review.
