Energy Help Drop In Event

Tackling the rising cost of living is of great concern to us all, and I was pleased to host an ‘energy drop in’  in Parliament this week to provide advice to MPs on how they can help constituents across the country with this issue.

8 organisations- Smart Energy GB, National Energy Action, Energy UK, Agility Eco, RNIB, LEAP, Carers UK and NESTA took part in the drop-in reception, providing helpful advice on tools for improving energy efficiency measures in homes, how to use smart meters, replacing boilers, and tips and tricks for reducing energy bills.

There was also specialist advice from the RNIB to help the visually impaired with access to smart meters and gain additional help with energy bills. 

Many MPs came to the event and will be passing the helpful information along to their own constituents.
