Brexit Public Meeting
Last night I held a public meeting on Brexit in Towcester for constituents to update them on our exit from the European Union, and answer questions on every aspect of the process.
Popular issues raised by the 150-strong audience included Chequers and the PM’s negotiated deal; a no deal Brexit; the border on the island of Ireland; negotiation tactics; and the future of the EU once we leave.
I very much appreciate that Brexit is an issue which stirs passions on all sides of the debate, and I will continue to hold public meetings as often as I can to allow people to voice their views, and to give me an opportunity to set out what the Government is doing.
Given the high levels of interest, I am exploring options to record part or all of future meetings so that people unable to attend can follow what happens through my website.
As ever, please do get in touch directly if I can answer any specific question or concern you have about Brexit, or indeed any other matter.
