Update on the Furtho Pit Development

I know many residents are concerned about the proposed development at Furtho Pit.

I have sought a meeting with Framptons (the, developer) and asked them to hold a local public exhibition as well as host a question and answer session so that local people can voice their concerns.

These were scheduled for early next week, before the school holidays.

Unfortunately, Framptons have now said that due to an Environment Agency objection to their flood risk submissions, these meetings will have to be postponed. I have asked for an early date for these meetings to be rescheduled and will keep residents up to date.
