Review into HS2 Land and Property

I recently met with the HS2 Minister, Andrew Stephenson MP to directly raise the continued concerns of constituents who are affected by the construction of HS2 through South Northamptonshire. 

I was pleased that the Minister has asked all line of route MPs to share feedback on HS2’s property acquisition programme, including the approach to compensation and how the organisation supports and engages with people affected by the development of this scheme. 

It is my hope that this review will drastically improve the communication and process for resolution from HS2, and provide the much needed step change in HS2’s performance, accountability and transparency.
