Visit to Wharf Distillery

From Potterspury Apple Brandy to Old Silson Silverstone Gin, it was fantastic to see the distilling and dispensing going on at a recent visit to the Wharf Distillery’s new headquarters in Towcester.

I was welcomed by Founder Laurence Conisbee who gave me an update on their soon to be opened pop-up shop, their plans for a Gin School on Brackley Road and, and also how they worked during the pandemic. Wharf Distillery is an independent small-batch copper-pot distillery producing a range of grain-to-glass spirits and liquors. In December 2020, Wharf Distillery were voted as Drinks Producer of the Year at the Circus Magazine Independent Food & Drink Awards. During the pandemic they turned their hand to making hand sanitiser, supplying the local community and diversifying their business.

Wharf Distillery is a great example of a local South Northamptonshire business that is going from strength to strength!
