Parliament Week 2022

This week marks Parliament Week,  an annual event spreading the word about what Parliament is, what it does and how schools and clubs can get involved. Last year over 1.1 million people from every nation and region of the UK took part and I was delighted to see so many  schools and clubs in South Northamptonshire sign up for Parliament Week. Last week I visited Greens Norton, Tiffield and Pattishall primary schools to publicise Parliament Week and hand over packs to the Head Teachers which included ideas for a number of great activities to encourage children understand the work of Parliament and to teach them about voting.
