Oakervee HS2 Review

I welcomed the recent announcement by the Secretary of State for Transport that Doug Oakervee would be chairing an independent review into whether and how we proceed with HS2, and that he would be ably supported by Lord Berkeley. This followed the recent backbench debate I held in Westminster Hall on the 10th July 2019, in which my constituents had asked me to press for such a review on their behalf.
