Andrea Leadsom Tables Amendment to Energy Bill

Today the Energy Bill is completing its passage through the House of Commons.

In order to meet the UK's future energy needs, we will need to build 600km of pylons by 2030.

That's why I've tabled an amendment to the Bill proposing to relax planning laws to encourage pylons to be built alongside major roads and railway lines. Watch here to find out more.
