HS2 Works in Chipping Warden

HS2 has provided an update on the completion works which are to be delivered over five phases of works between November 2020 and February 2021.

This includes the following:

Phase 1

Monday 16 November 2020 for two weeks – utility diversion, temporary traffic lights, road diversions and footpath closures.

Phase 2

Monday 23 November 2020 for two weeks – construction of the relief road and drainage works

Phase 3

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2020 – weekend road closures

Phase 3 continued

Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 December 2020 – diversion routes and temporary traffic lights

Phase 4

Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December 2020- weekend road closure for road surfacing and line painting

Phase 5

January 2021 until February 2021- road safety checks and installation of planting for the area.
