Thank you very much Rhoda and Eve for showing me around the nursery and primary school area –both excellent tour guides and I was very pleased to hear your school pudding faves - apple crumble and chocolate brownies!

I also listened to primary school pupils in their French lesson before I had a second tour by Alisa, the Deputy Head Girl of the upper school and a question-and-answer session with sixth formers. I was asked some challenging questions including how I prioritise my constituency work, why I became an MP, which two qualities I believe make a good MP, how I work with other MPs cross party and my position on the small boats crossing the channel and what the possible solutions to the issue are. Thank you very much Dr Lee and Mr Hickman for facilitating such an excellent visit to the school.
